About Pregnancy-Related Nausea
Nausea and vomiting are common during pregnancy, particularly in the first trimester, though their timing and severity vary.
How we approach care
At Ānshén, your appointment begins with time to discuss your health history, current concerns and goals. A Chinese medicine assessment considers your broader wellbeing and helps guide a treatment plan tailored to you.
Acupuncture can be discussed as a complementary option alongside appropriate healthcare. We will talk through your circumstances, answer your questions and review your care with you.
Working with your healthcare team
Discuss symptoms with your midwife or doctor. Seek prompt medical care if you cannot keep fluids down, feel faint, or have signs of dehydration.
